Preheat oven to 400° F.
Lightly grease baking sheet
Sift the dry ngredients into a large bowl (the dried fruit is not considered a dry ingredient in this instance)
Add the butter and cut in with pastry blender or two knives
Add the dried fruit and mix lightly
Add the milk and toss with a fork as if it were pie dough, just until it comes together
Gather the dough and divide in half
On a lightly floured board lightly pat down until it is about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick.
Cut into 8 wedges
Bake 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown
